Hi,
Wow! I love your attitude. My sons feels the same way as you. Nathan would love to ride a bike, but has limited movements and no grip in his arms, also can not pedal. so he has opted for a skateboard which he kneels on and plays football with his mates, also his back is failed him and can not support his torso leading to a deep curve in his lower back. It amazes me that you can still use a walking frame! Nathan has never been able to use one. Sorry if i am been to nosey, but are you still able to do things for yourself? Nathan gets frustrated as he has to be assisted and cared for with most things.
Thanks for the info. Roz
Hi
Thanks for the comment!
I love tyhe sea and my grandad owns a launch and a 25ft yacht so when ever i visit him i either go sailing or out on the launch!
well what has GAN done to me? um quite a few limitations but you canyt let them get you down! i always thought it would be so much fun to ride a bike again seing my friends riding so i found out about a hand powered bike and now i own my own and am able to keep up with my mates! i have found going out or going places where i cant get my walking frame difficult but i have learnt to either find a way round it or just not got myself into situations where it would be to difficult! where theres a will there is a way! never say something is impossible as there is always a solution you just have to find it!
